The Bombay Paperie seeks to create an awareness of the fast disappearing craft of paper-making by hand. In India, today, paper made using cotton fibre, on a mechanical mould is often sold as "hand-made". This is rapidly putting master craftsmen out of work. All our products are made of paper which has been lifted by hand.
